I haven't collected a lot, as tttt said, we have also moved house often, so that puts you off.

I would collect English China, dolls and goodness knows what else if I had the chance, space and $$.

My cousin had her late Mum's crystal,  which all got broken in the Christchurch earthquatke.. very upsetting.

Sorry for the ignorant question, but is Christchurch in New Zealand?    I lose track of time but we have a fellow doll friend who posts on a doll chat site and I remember how worried we all were.   Her home was far out but her son drove truck and was in town the second or third earthquake.   I want to say two years ago?

Not in answer to anyone, but

I'm starting to think the differene between collectors

and hoarders is perspective,  hmmm?

Maybe the difference is collectors know when they are out of room.  🙂

that's the prettiest toddler doll I've ever seen Donna

and Freddie has some very nice looking ruby glass in her cabinet there

I think I have a pic of a couple of my dolls on my PC Donna, just going to check

Beautiful.

Now If I tried to take a photo like that there would be something I didn't want in the photo in the background.   A photo of my son and his girlfriend had a cobweb.   Thank goodness it was around Halloween.  LOL

Christchurch is in N.Z.

I collect banknotes and have more than 3,500 different notes from all around the world.

I have notes from all countries except 5 municipalities.

My most treasured are some notes from Greenland dating to early part of last century.

Lucky for me they don't take up much room. Smiley Very Happy
