Yes, each week is a new theme.

I think it starts and ends on Monday night, Aus time, so at the crack of dawn Monday, US time  😄

That is a Pacific Ringneck snake. My adult son goes hiking and picks up any snake he can find. He loves snakes. 

He found that one in the park behind our house. 

Lovely snake 🙂 living here, I have met, unexpectedly, three of the world's most venomous.

It's been running for about 8 months now.  You have some fabulous photos. I'm sure you'll be able to find a spot for them in future challenges, as well as this one. It will be great having photos from OS in the challenges 🙂
