You all know the rules. Flashie has picked a great theme this weeks with the hopes of everyone being able to find something to enter.

Maybe the american visitors will contribute too.

My sister-in-law calls lorikeets Flying Rats.

Artful, I vote for every picture simply because I feel everyone who participates deserves a vote, but that's just me. You can vote for any or all pictures you wish to.

I read that a new photo challenge is started every Sunday. 

Does the OP start a new thread each week, with a new theme?

This time I have voted for just about every picture. They all are great and each one is fitting the title theme. I especially love all the gnarled trees and treestumps, but then again I love fowers and birds just as much. What a wonderful subject to choose for the competition. Great to see so many participating.
