You can get semi-permanent tattoos for representing makeup, like filling in eyebrows and stuff
Lasts around six weeks.
Also, henna is semi-permanent
And there are temporary tattoos that wash off 🙂
I have never had any of those things but they exist.

Everywhere I go around these parts I see so many frumpy middle aged women with large tattoos. What are they thinking? It doesn't make them look individual or with it. It makes them look like sheep that have been to Bali. In the old days they came back with plaited hair but at least that grew out.

I am not a fan of tatts. Some of my children have them but not visible when clothed.
My first YUK was a rather large woman sitting opposite me in a doctor's waiting room, it really was ugly! her neck, chest and arms were covered in them 😞 and poorly done.
My niece recently had one done on her thigh. The pic she used was lovely but............. her wolf's jowls looked like a ... well... a butt! She likes it, so I guess that is all that matters.
Don't people check the work they do first for talent??

my son is a tattoo artist, he is very particular and will not just tattoo anything, he makes sure it's something they hopefully wont regret and also that will be suitable for that person. when he first started he needed people to practice on, I offered up myself to which he thankfully declined. He is very busy so I don't think the tattoo industry is declining at all. Each to their own hey?

Never had one and don't want one. I have no desire to permanently scar my skin with ink. I can well believe that some people now regret having them done. A lot of teens get them done on holidays abroad, when they are the worse for wear with the local hooch. I've seen some howlers, believe me. You wouldn't write it on a public toilet wall. I once saw a programme on tele where this girl had a tattoo on her chest, and bitterly regretted it. She had laser treatment at a cost of several thousand pounds - can't remember the exact figure - but even then, and although she seemed satisfied with the results, you could still see patches of ink, and in some places the pigmentation of her skin had been lost.
The blokes who tattoo their whole arms amuse me. Looks as though they're wearing shoulder length lace gloves.
