Just make sure it is large enough to accommodate four spoon 'bowls' - mine isn't

Perhaps you would be wise to wait until your preferred spoon rest arrives - but then, since you don't use the ashtray for smoking, I guess it would not matter so much.
Neither would it affect the ability to use it as a missile if the desire ever occurred
