I read it last night, and I think Crikey has it right..

No one would be devestated that he got found out.

As a woman, what I find really depressing is that so many women working in that industry had bad experiences with him yet none of them felt able to speak out.. One hopes that wouldn't be the case today, what does it say about the prevailing attitudes of the time?

People in the media and entertainment industry over the past 40 years or so MUST have known about much of these goings ons.....yet did NOTHING. Shame none of them can do time for being witness to criminal activity and did squiddley dot nothing about reporting RH.

The $ talks louder obviously. Sick and widespread attitudes IMO

I think I lot of people tried but were ignored from what i can see of the history of Jake the Ped.

Heated? Really?  Heated must mean having different opinions. 

I just can't get why no-one said anything until the last couple years, especially seeing how so many say they knew or experienced his actions first hand.
