Rolf Harris appeared at London's Southark Crown Court yesterday (Tues), to answer assault charges.
Freddie Starr meanwhile, has been cleared of all charges due to lack of evidence.

I did too Freddie. I suppose some people and family are trying to stop him from doing that.

For his age he will still be close to death. It's a fair sentence.
5-1/2 years is good.

Nice pad Rolf, shame about the accommodation.

give him time to think a bit. Am sure he will be given reminders about what it is he should be thinking about from time to time.....

He won't be assaulting anyone else. 1yr, 2yrs, 5yrs, it's over. His life is not worth living now. I hope they keep an eye out in the suicide watch. Maybe I don't.
What happens with his Knighthood? I suppose he will lose it. I don't imagine that his portrait of the queen will be hanging in Buckingham Palace anymore.

Money and fame allow creepy men to flourish
Why Rolf's artwork must be taken down

People in the media and entertainment industry over the past 40 years or so MUST have known about much of these goings ons.....yet did NOTHING. Shame none of them can do time for being witness to criminal activity and did squiddley dot nothing about reporting RH.
The $ talks louder obviously. Sick and widespread attitudes IMO

I'm devastated too. For his victims and his family and friends who trusted him. I have nothing but contempt for him.

I just hope his victims can take some comfort in the knowledge that they have been heard, been believed and that although he got away with it for so long and received a measely sentence he has lost more than just his freedom in his twiight years - there will be no world wide mourning of the loss of a great man when he croaks now - there will be indifference or happiness that there is one less molester breathing our oxygen.
He has to live with the knowledge he has lost the respect of any decent person, everything he has acheived now means nothing, his titles will be stripped from him and his fame will be for being a sly sneaky pervert.
He has to live with knowing the legacy he is leaving for his family is now shame and disgust.
That is karma in action.
