its not something i would encourage at the table either.

few things gross me out - that is one of them.

The tooth picks I buy come in a container with a small hole for dispensing, so technically yes and no.
I too keep them in the cupboard unless someone asked for them.

They're not only used for picking teeth, the kids used them for craft things, dabbing glue, things like that . I just have them around because every now and then someone wants to use them for something

I used to work with a "lady" who constantly had one hanging from her mouth! Only changed it at breakfast, lunch and dinner!
I know when she changed it because we worked twelve hour shifts in the kitchen and ate meals together! Disgusting habit!

Eeeew!

Eww indeed. I can't see the point in having a toothpick hanging out your mouth all day long... As Joel Madden (The Voice) appears to do as well. I would want to snatch it out of the persons mouth.

see. like I said  weird!

I think what you have there is actually a Russian coffee/tea cup?

     Sorta looks similar?

I'm odd.   I use toothpicks to test whether my oil is hot enough

for deep frying.  If it gets bubbles on it, it's ready

That looks very similar stawka, but the one I've got has UK hallmarks, so I thought it must be a shot glass, not entirely sure though

Well, just to be stubborn,

I still think it's more of a tea glass than a shot glass.

But, to each his own, I guess
