lol, sorry all! there used to be a jewellry board for vintage costume stuff on the usa boards, and the regulars were called the joolies, and so was the stuff they sold. it sort of morphed into all jewelry being referred to as joolies. i forgot y'all wouldn't know that here! 🙂

omg!! i'd love to own enamelwork like that! mine are mostly the framed kind, the joolies referred to it as stained glass enamel, because it was"inset" in the raised metal lines that shaped the piece.
does that make any sense at all? let me see if i have anything in my file that would show you....bbl.

Sin, I think that you will find that your pieces are probably called "cloissone" which is a very old Asian type of jewellery work. Sorry not quite sure of the correct spelling, but someone here smarter than me will know. It is very beautiful and delicate work and there is quite a lot of it here in Australia.

Sin, Blythe is the doll with a big head and eyes that change colour, the little figures are Scottish, they were handmade in Scotland when i got my first one (many years ago). Love your dolls.
Doris, customised Blythe with her new mohair hair and Ruby.
