I call this Ode to a Troll....

Hello, its me, I’m the dummy spitter

I enjoy wrecking fun and being a PITA!

I’m not one to simply join in and play,

No, not me!  I want my own way!

Nothing will stop me once it enters my head

to sook and whine and ruin your thread.

I poke and I prod, my disruption skills I doth hone

There’s nothing as annoying as a dog with a bone!

I’m not just nasty, annoying and juvenile,

I’m really quite irritating, and yes, even puerile.

I’m creepy and callous, I whinge and gripe,

My eyes half close as I furiously type…

To me this is all just a fun little game,

And I’m sure you are all aware of my name.

Everyone knows I lack self control

Yes that’s correct – I am a troll!!!

I thought I was Queen of the poets,

I thought that my rhymes were the best,

I thought that my versifications

Were better than all of the rest.

But now I shall just spit the dummy,

I'll pick up my pen and go home,

Cos Pepe has stole all my thunder

And writ a more betterer pome!

For woman or man

To show what they can do 

With a line or two

Then Channy popped in

And said with a grin

That words she can't find

In her poor old blank mind

Pepe jumps to the fore

Inviting all to explore

Her kitchen bourgois

Only lacking chinois

She sure has the knack

And the need to extol

That pesky old troll

Flannie Annie's delighted

And wants pepe knighted

So she can offer a kiss

That would not be amiss

And here is she-ele

She is up from the tele

All agog and in wonder

Pepe has stolen her thunder

Oh what shall we do 

Our poets are few

Such talent they've shown

Now who would have known

Blessed are the cracked, for they are the ones who let in the light.
