I've watched it a couple of times.  Comedy?  I must have missed any humour.  

Low budget = low space allocation in a studio, too; could be the reason for their closeness.  

I think I would prefer re-runs of re-runs of that ladybeetle/ fly/spider thingey show that has no speaking parts.
