It's funny to me that so many people on the black and white theme are posting photos of photos. 

That is not a photo of a photo (the kids one). I scanned the photo as with the one of mum and dad, it is not up for voting.

 

The one of the bathtub I actually took. I can see how people probably think I didn't. It is in an old farmhouse near me.

 

I have noticed though that some are photos of photos, but people are stating that they are.

 

I also think that there is some confusion as to what is required. It is easy to take the colour out of a photo also, so I guess it is up to each individual to either vote or not vote depending on how they see the picture posted.

I agree with the short bangs thing. Mind you I did cut my hair once, mum was devastated

In the past we had a couple of themes, were it was hard to find recent photos to suit (one theme was Memories or similar) and for those weeks only, the rules included it being OK to take a photo of an old photo which were eligible for kudos.

Usually if the poster is in the photo they post, the photo is not eligible for kudo count as they didn't take the photo (not their own work),

As a child I had my hair like channysmum in that photo, a bit of it tied back on top with a ribbon. I think I prefer a fringe!!

Gosh, sin.  Now you've asked.  Looking at the photo again,it may have

actually been a Polaroid instamatic.  You had to wave it around to dry it.

 

But you're asking an awful lot of my memory.   Hahahahaha
