Humbugs are also called blackballs ( googled). That is what those sweets in the photo looked like.

I don't think many, if any, do enter photos in the challenge for the sole purpose of winning. There is no prize money!! No one is being swindled IF an ineligible entry did get the most kudos (which I don't think has ever happened here anyway).

I think Mark is going to clobber me over the head. I told him that he was a rule breaker. Unless he used the dreaded scanner to post his picture....

Band posted a picture of that boat several challenges ago. I wonder if that was a screenshot, or the dreaded scanner too? Da da dummm. It's all a mystery... and quite funny when you think about it.

I'm not going to lie, I like getting some votes. I have posted some real duds too. LMAO. Oh well.

At the end of the day, the thread is fun. I think most people really enjoy seeing other posters photos. I do.

The odd person has posted a photo of themselves (obvious not their own work) or a pic off the net and declared it to be so. Personally I don't why they would bother posting those. Unless they are new and haven't read the guidelines in the opening post. The vast majority stick to the guidelines.

Blackballs - "Hard boiled peppermint lollies that are an ole kiwi favourite " i will have to start calling them humbugs.
