I don't mind flower smells ... but I don't like them mixed with food. We have a cafe here which also sells fresh flowers ... I've walked in a couple of times and walked right out again ...

Basil and also fresh ginger.
I could easily where a basil perfume and then the ants wouldn't bother me either.
When I'm preparing a stir-fry I have to stop and smell the ginger.
Bandcamp, Yes, that is a little weird. I bought some Nando's chicken yesterday for dinner, took it home and then had to get back in the car half an hour later. I couldn't believe how much it had stunk the car out.

Two years and five months a non smoker and still I love the smell of a freshly lit cigarette.
I'm just not going to be silly enough to taste one again.

Stawka ... do you use heirloom seeds?
I know home grown veges are best, but I don't have a garden, just a tiny balcony.
Too impatient to wait for seeds to grow. I buy seedlings at the nursery.
You can buy a reasonably large seedling - like a tomato, singly. You don't have
to buy a whole tray of 12 or so
