I can share an experience, Longfordson.

I've known a couple of folks that searched out self-help groups and did they pay a price for that!

One of my friends from Utah, shared some things with a self-help group. She lived to rue the day. Turns out the group was far from kind, or decent, for that matter. Don’t ask me how they did it, or why, but they got a hold of some information and they almost self-helped her out of a job and onto the unemployment line!!!!!

She said they seemed so nice and polite.

There are some real healthy ones out there I know, to be sure. One way to help ferret out the good from the bad is to ask is the Truth important, do they make sense, does the place ring true or false? The truth has a certain ring, but takes discernment to identify.

Oh, she told me when she thinks of that time and place, she refers to it as the primal scream room. lol

of course, she could have used a bit of common sense and done some research...maybe you could suggest that to your friends,eh? and help them?

mine already know that. we help each other research ,different POV'S help to make a rational decision, you know.

So Longfordson is your name?

Has a real cowboy flair to it.

May I be so bold to suggest that you don't worry about myself and Abe, and maybe concentrate on what cowboys do best.

Such as riding off into the sunset.

Yeah, I heard you and your friends are good at research.

You know I asked her, why'd you get involved with them?  She said she had no idea they met elsewhere and planned those type of things. Who in their right mind would expect grown adults to do stuff like that?  I don't know.  Imagine, trying to harm someone's employment?

Funny you should say different POV's help to make a rational decision. That bunch were all of a like mind she told me.  Ha, and there was no rationality to be found, another hallmark.

Oh and goblins, that's not what cowboys are really good at.  Robot wink

What's with the kangaroos?  We don't have cowboys here!

We have jackaroos or the female jillaroos

Sorry, my reply was to Longfordson, an American cowboy who has recently found himself in Oz.

I have been led to believe he is a honest-to-God bull riding, horse breaking, cattle driving, damsel saving, Marlboro Man.

But henceforth, if the situation arises, I will refer to him as a Longfordson the jackaroo, which has a very nice ring to it.  Heart

honestly,i'm really sorry, but your friend must be lying to you. i've never been involved with any kind of self help group, just social groups.

was this online or face to face? she can report it to the proper authorities if it was online harrassment,or call the police if it's face to face...

i'd love to know who you're talking about, though, have they been in the news? i was reading a story recently about phone scammers from up north of me....minnesota,montana,not sure, does this convo have anything to do with that?

and why would cowboys know anything about goblins? i imagine they have other monsters to deal with...

loved the roos, though, cowboy free,it's the way to be,for all the roos ,etc....

I'm afraid you must not have read my posts

I never said it was you,

I was relaying a situation that happened to my friend and it was in response to Longfordson.

Perhaps a perusal of the previous posts would be helpful?

No, goblins, the real Marlboro Man was my husband, remember?

I told my mother he reminded me of the Marlboro Man after I first met him and he wanted to go out to lunch, and should I?  I did.

We had a nice long ride until he actually did ride off into the sunset.  In America, where the cowboys are.
