UFO I am sure that the lady who told you that was absolutely sincere and of course, I cannot prove that she was mistaken.

However I am equally sure that many of those who claim to have seen the Virgin Mary, or ghosts, or "weeping" statues or flying saucers or to have been abducted by aliens or remember previous lives are all equally sincere.

I am also well aware that the mind can play very powerful tricks - one only has to watch a  hypnotist at work to know that. And while I do not deny the possibility that some of these phenomena ma yeventually  be shown to be supernatural, as things are, I cannot convince myself to believe in any of  them.
