FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tonight we are having gourmet beef burgers ... I'm debating whether to put duck pate on them, but think that might be a bit of overkill. What do you reckon?
Tomorrow, it is lamb kebabs in pita bread.
The day after, it is duck a l'orange. Frozen duck, but difficult to get fresh. I bought three kilos of oranges for it - and for my breakfasts.

Buns, beetroot (not canned), tomatoes, red onion, avocado, pickled (bread and butter) cucumbers, mustard, lettuce ... the burgers were cooked in a frying pan over a Korean barbecue and came out brown on the outside and pink on the inside.
Ah, life's good.

Sounds delish Katy 🙂 I love beetroot, do you cook it yourself? Not sure what a Korean bbq is, we have a gas one here, but I would also like a wood fired one as well.
Everyone enjoyed their lunch and a few glasses of red ( I dont drink ), hubs received a pressure washer for his b/day from our friends so he was happy, he has already tried it out lol

A Korean BBQ is a small, portable BBQ that you use a small gas canister to heat. It's like a gas hotplate ... if you've ever been to a Korean restaurant, you'll have seen them on the tables ... you cook your own food on them there.
I'm glad your barbie went well ... and a big LOL at hubby's present. I think I want one, too.
HINT: if you sprinkle some washing powder (just the normal front or top loader stuff), on pavers or wooden planks, and work that in with a wet broom and then wash that off, you get amazing results.
