Brian Langton dead? I'm sure he'd like to differ.
TRANSPORT Minister John Watkins stands by his decision to give a $70,000 public sector job to a former Labor minister who resigned from politics amid a corruption scandal.
Mr Watkins said the appointment of former transport minister Brian Langton as the chair of the Sydney Ferries Corporation was the right thing to do.
Mr Langton, 60, resigned from the NSW cabinet in 1998 after the Independent Commission Against Corruption found that he had rorted his charter plane expenses.
