A month seems a long time.. if you mop the floor two or 3 times and the floor is still making your feet black, then obviously not a mop problem. Bit of a mystery.

It is a mystery, I am prepared to try this and see what happens. If the problems continues at least I have tried.

Just water on this new vinyl.  The mop is the same mop I used prior to the vinyl, so it would have had a combination of Handy Andy, pine-o-clean and probably other cleaning products used with that mop.

The bench idea is great....just make sure you get something that is waterproof if it is to go in the bathroom.

None of this chipboard with unsealed edges or you will be in trouble if it gets wet.
