Do you have one of the King of Knives shops near you? They do knife/scissor sharpening in specific weeks.

Nope, am,  no King of Knives anywhere near me.

 

But the foil cutting trick worked a treat.

 

That should keep me happy for a while.

so I am waiting for a creative use of foil bits - maybe an xmas dec, a whole xmas town, santa and the reindeer, xmas elves in the workshop cleverly making toys? - pictures please.Woman Happy

Hi Stawka-not sure if this is off topic-but i used to attend reps meetings in the HQ

in the city-all the reps would appear.

Someone said--you can hear the knives sharpening in the inner office,

---wonder what they used.........................................Richo.

You could of tried to sell the foil strips to the R.A.A.F as fighter aircraft eject loads of them to evade missiles

I sharpen my scissors by cutting through steel-wool or sandpaper. Works well.
