@am*3 wrote:twinkles - about your photo query. How do you post the photos on CS.. with a laptop/computer or an ipad? An ipad makes them appear upside down to viewers of posts sometimes, when it shows right way up to the person posting the photo.
I noticed on the Photo thread last week one of yours appeared upside down on my computer, but when at other times I viewed that thread on my ipad the same photo was the right way up.
For your information if you don't already know this... you can change the size of your photos in the drop down box when selecting a photo.. there is choice of small, medium, large and full size. The default setting is full size.
Image SizeFull Size Smal lMedium LargeImage AlignmentLeftInlineRight
Full size is a bit large for most viewers, it takes up more than one screen to see the whole photo and the impact is lost, especially in the photo thread. I think most posters use the large size for the photo thread.
Tonight I am using my phone

Is it an iphone? Seems to be the i- pads, i-phones that have that upside down photo issue.

Daw, welcome back. Sounds like you have your work there cut out for you, but at least the weather is getting better now and that should help.
Hope you will keep posting, would really like to know how it all progresses xx

Yes, iThings have that issue. There is a fix, and an explanation as to why, here:
http://iphonephotographyschool.com/iphone-photos-upside-down/
Basically, the solution appears to be to take piccies with the volume buttons at the bottom, not at the top...
Same fix for the Samsung phone,

Hope that helps 🙂

the second link also says what to do in landscape, and which side the shutter button needs to be on the Samsung.
