Yes it would. It also wouldn't be too far off the mark though.

 

The reason that name was chosen was because myself and two friends (hence the plural 'bods') were going to sell together through this account ID. The account ID name was originally a variation of havoc, which we were concerned might not instill a great deal of confidence in our buyers, so we needed a new name.

 

 They were both moderators & admins on another forum I was heavily involved with (hence the 'mod'), one is male & the other female. Her first name is Estelle (hence the 'est') & her online nic started with 'shy', so 'modestbods' was an apt construct of those various parts.

mb is fine, or bods, whatever, I'm not one to worry about what name I get called by. Whilst it's not my real name my actual nickname is Jak, so you can use that if you prefer, whatever you find easiest to remember..

I've had plenty of American friends through the years. They weren't ALL bad. 

 

 

I never expected to have the red carpet rolled out for me either. I took the initial 'icy' welcome I got on the chin & I replied politely & in good humour.

 

Since then, it has become very apparent to me that 'someone' has decided to take their frustration out on me for their having been called to task by others on here for the manner in which they apparently regard & treat newcomers to these boards, which I point out was hardly my doing/fault.

 

 But that's fine with me I don't mind a bit of 'friendly banter' whatsoever, but if anyone thinks I'm going to lay down and take a kicking just because they feel like venting their angst by bullying the first 'noob' they see... well they best be prepared to get a good kicking directed right back at them.

I'm still new here myself, but I get a kick out of this place, they do make it interesting, it's really diverse. All the best.
