You're off an a new adventure, Soul.
I think that I overdid it on the weekend.

I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon. I don't know who I am seeing because I couldn't understand what she was saying except that it will be one of the female doctors. My ususal GP's first available appointment is not until November 28th.

I think I've muttered here before about Christmas beetles on my balcony. On seeing one of the corpses, I don't think they are Christmas beetles, just some other kind of beetles. They are gold in colour, but don't have that green sheen that CBs have. They are about 1 cm in length.
At first, I thought they were just visiting at night, because there is a light on outside my balcony. Then I started hearing noises during the day. I don't really like icky flying things, so I put off looking until earlier.
Well, there is a large colony in one of my planters. They are teeming in there, climbing over each other. It is HORRIBLE.
So, during the day, they make nasty noises. During the night, they make nasty noises, fly around, and dive bomb me.
What do I do?

Freddie, it was only last week or so, that (with the Rates Notice
) I received a voucher for the tip. Valid for one load only up to 200kg, bring voucher and proof of residency when tipping.
Maybe a quick call to your Council, you might have just missed out on the timing with its issue due to your recent purchase, but you may still be eligible.

Hi Katy, I think you may have hatchlings of a variety of beetles. They have been hatching around here too. And become almost cicada-like with their noise. They are probably drying out from their nursery before flying off.
In the meantime, seek a good looking muscular non-fraidy-pants bloke to transport the planter to another area. And ..............say thank you nicely.![]()

Sounds terrible, Katy!
I have a viral infection and need to rest, rest, rest, drink lots of fluid etc and rest, rest, rest.

b3 - I live on the South Coast. The weather was strange.. Fri was very hot, Sun morn was hot dry gusty winds, dust and sand blowing everywhere, afternoon cool and no wind at all. Sydnesiders travelling down this way for the weekend jam up the traffic.
