Idiot is more derogatory than 'stupid' imo.

Idiot

A stupid person.

Origin

middle english (denoting a person of low intelligence): via Old French from Latin idiota 'ignorant person', from Greek idiōtēs 'private person, layman, ignorant person', from idios 'own, private'.

Oxford Dictonary

I'll say someone's gormless rather than stupid. Then they really do give you a stupid look!

It's ok Az, I'll cry for you 🙂

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

That is up to you but don't do it for me..................

Why would you cry for her?

And why would anyone say such a thing to another?

I'd rather Azuline then Arrogant, any day.

and the really stupid for the day............................. Charles Manson gets a licence to marry a 26 year old who visits him????

I sincerely hope they are not allowed to reproduce.

I'll take stupid over an arrogant smart ass anytime of the day.

I'm prone to use the phrase 'you silly woman", or "what a dolt" when I do or see someone being foolish.

I dislike the word "stupid".  And I dislike the word "hate" too.

I wonder who taught your grandchildren  to think "stupid" is a naughty, bad word.

their parents?

Yup, for someone who didn't want all the drama....... Here you go....... Can't say I was much of a Bush fan, but still a president of the U.S. I guess you have no stupid politicians in Australia to pick on, you have to go to the U.S. Great way to start out one of your first post to gain acceptance, it's always fashionable to bash the U.S. You'll fit right in with a few here. 😉

Just sayin'....
