Well I got given some last year and the stupid hen sat on them for weeks and all I got was rotten eggs.

I get that sometimes too .... but I also have an incubator (when the FIL gives it back).

I had a broody chook sitting on eggs, I took her to the nursery but then she stopped sitting on them 😞

Oh Clare, please lets have some pity for the poor chickie!
She sat for weeks and didn't get any babies..
She wasn't to know they wouldn't hatch.

Hey guys, would putting a clutch of plastic eggs in the coop encourage one of the chookies to get clucky????
(hopefully thinking here)

A chicken house???

No a house, we're moving into the town for a while and won't be able to take mr rooster and I'm a bit sad about tht but seeing as he's starts crowing 4:30am some mornings it's a bit hard 😞
