My husband drove buses here in Melbourne for many yrs, he use to drive the night shift 3pm -1.am, he use to like it, but then he started getting druggies, drunks on the bus, found them very hard to deal with also louts and the only protection he had was to push a button that rang in the depot, to let them know he was in trouble. Hubby lasted as long as he could, in the end he had to leave as it wasnt safe.

 

Hubby said the worst offenders were women!

 

They need to have a cage around them, so they cant get attacked, after all they are out there to take the public from A to B, not to be attacked for doing their job.
