I liked some of Joe Cocker's songs - You are so beautiful is one.  He died of lung cancer - I think he smoked heavily - we didn't have the warnings in his early days.

 

We had a nice night last night with our good friends.  Chris had a serious stroke 18mths ago and is usually in a wheelchair but he walked slowly in with a stick.  Matt, Kim and kids called in to say hi to them.  He doesn't say a lot but doesn't miss anything.  He said it takes a while for his brain to work out an answer so he usually doesn't bother.  His wit is still there though.

 

Today we are off to Melbourne to take Deearne's Christmas presents down.  She lives close to Fountain Gate so may go there for lunch - and a quick look around.  I do love the Christmas atmosphere in these large shopping centres.  I need to grab a couple of books to add to Milla's box.

 

We are leaving in 10 mins and Frank has just taken my coffee cup to wash so best move.  Enjoy your day everyone ....

Good morning everyone.
We are off to our sons later this morning to have Christmas Eve. All 3 of our sons and partners will be there, as well as DiLs family so should be fun.
Then everyone into cars on Christmas morning to come back here for Christmas Day. It's easy to do because no one has any littiles 😞
I remembered at about 4am I have forgotten to get the spuds, so one last trip to WWs is in order then we're off.
