My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

We bought a 2nd fold hand down clothes line, there was no way it was going to fit on the roof racks, so no option but to take the trailer, Mitre 10 and Aldi carparks were fine, WW was a nightmare, we end up parking up the street and walking to WW and back. I dont really like shopping WW, but we needed to get a few things that Aldi dont sell.

Nah, I meant the piccie of the orchid.Smiley LOL  I can't even decipher most avis.  Most of them lately are a blur of red.

I don't even have a mobile phone anymore.  If somebody wants me. Forget it.  If somebody needs me, they'll find a way to get to me.

Dinners cooked.   Gotta go.  Better have a food intake, if I'm going to imbibe over at the neighbouring thread.

Re: My day

Did I mention that before we left, I  went to log on to FB to get the address of where we had to PU the clothesline and discovered we had no power, hence no Internet.  I had forgotten that it was a going off today for telegraph pole repairs.  I only access the net on my laptop, don't own moby, so first stop once we got into the big smoke was the library, so I could use their puter and find out where we had to go, thankfully the lady understood why we were late picking it up.

I slept in this morning - still recovering from no sleep at all Saturday night (Freddie, that 18 yo who lost his legs party started humming at 12:30am, they had several all in brawls before the riot at 5am, not a night I would like to repeat).

But I did make it to the shops for the last minute pressie and foodstuff! AND I got some very cheap shelving units for my stock from Repco, I'm now wondering if I should have bought some more for OH for in the garage....hmmmm

I have cooked the Christmas pavs, made the berry sauce and wrapped the last of the gifts.

Now I have to drown the gardens so they will survive until Sunday when we get back from down south.

Looking forward to having a family Christmas, but not looking forward to tomorrow's drive to get there.

Looks like everyone has been very busy with all the last minute preparations!

Hi B3 I wondered if you would have heard the commotion.  I'm guessing they were the usual suspects due to where it all happened. Have a lovely Christmas with your family and take care on the roads.

Awful situation in Taree.  Was that the High Street crossing near the Station. Those poor train drivers see and experience some horrific situations.

Merry Christmas b3.  And take care on those roads.

It was the Bushland dr crossing lloyds... I'm waiting to get confirmation that the "victim" was laying down on the tracks - this is what I have been told but dont want to give it as a fact just yet.

And yes, train drivers go through some horrific stuff, and they never truly get over it.
