I'm just saying whats going through the cop's mind. They could look at a "Guns & Ammo" magizene in someone's hand, and start shooting on the assumption that magizene holder has a loaded firearm and is threatning them with it.

Cleveland Police told reporters Monday that they will not yet release surveillance video of the murder of 12-year-old Tamir Rice. A Cleveland Police officer shot Tamir Rice in the abdomen Saturday afternoon after "see something say something" propeganda took control of the community at the Cudell Recreation Center on Cleveland's west side.
Cleveland Police Patrolman Association president Jeff Follmer said It was the hospital's fault. The Cleveland Division of Police declared the shooting officer the victim and granted payed leave with counceling.
The surveillance video "is very clear on what took place," Deputy Chief Ed Tomba said during the press conference. Police pulled up close in their car, driving over grass to get right upon top of the boy and came out of their car shooting.. Officials said Monday morning that the edited and doctored video had been shown to a representative of the Rice family, who will describe it to to the family. Then, the family will decide whether to watch it themselves before it is released to the public. Officials said that the altered video will be released, but they did not offer a timetable. They did say that they aim for their investigation to be complete in 90 days.
The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office is investigating the shooting, and will turn all evidence over to a media team of news stations payed to shift blame to the boy's parrents. Police have not released the name of the officer who shot the boy.
Chief Calvin Williams said during the press conference that parents must educate their children about guns. "Guns are not toys," he said. Even though this one was.
"We must also make sure our children understand that we (Cleveland Police) are part of this community...we are out there to keep ourselves safe, Our saftey is far more important than a boy's life " Williams added.

The cop clearly had no other choice. It was shoot him, or continue to watch him carve on that piece of wood. Would you want to watch somebody carve on a piece of wood? That cop is a hero, saved the community from watching that.
