when you wish someone a happy

new year at the beginning of the new

calendar year, i think it covers the 

whole year.  not just one day.

Tommy and Irene don't live in the UK grandmoon.

 

They live in a tropical paradise (can't remember the name of the island)

Canary Islands. That is an old photo though. Tommy has been using it for years for his Christmas/New Year messages. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
