Yes, it is all very important.
My solicitor made an error in the first draft, then another error in the second draft. Or rather whoever did the typing did or they both did.
And I am ridiculed (on this forum) for being astute and thorough with legal affairs. What if I had "left it up to" my solicitor and just signed the will with the errors?
