Night Bushy, have fun shopping tomorrow.

When the siege happened in Sydney I was concerned re my daughter but I also knew she works at the other end of town so was probably quite safe.

Then I discovered that she had been at her dentist that morning, no more than 100 yards away from it all. I freaked out when she told me that night how close she had been and how often used to go there for coffee when she was up that end of town on business.

Good morning early bird people 🙂

I hope everyone enjoyed a better night's sleep last night, particularly those who have been having asthma probs, not nice at all

Safe travelling today Sandy, hope you have an enjoyable break away with your friends/rellies and come home feeling nice and refreshed. I know what you mean re being a "homebody", I am a bit the same these days.

Freddie I have been meaning to ask you if you sorted out your bathroom curtain "dilemma", if so, what did you decide on? What's happening re your courtyard, are you still deciding?  I am sure "we" can sort it all out for you lol

Seems like a few of us are renovating, so looking forward to seeing the before and after pics

Looking forward to our trip to The Nount this morning, still compling my list of what need to be done while we are there, hopefully we will get it all done and then enjoy lunch at our fav pub, before the long trip home again.

Good morning bushie and everyone as they wake.

Thanks for the wishes - I am really looking forward to this break.

lol at "we" will work out the court yard renovations.

Love the weather this morning for a change - it is cool and fresh and my chest is good.  First night I slept well for a while and could have slept longer but we are heading off in half an hour.

Bushie, enjoy your shopping trip - how long do you have to travel to get there?  Sounds like quite a trip.

Well, time to pack the food.  See you all in a few days .....

Morning Sandy   ... great the weather is cooler for you for travelling this morning.   It's 13 degrees here and  raining, what a change lol

The Mount is around an hour and a bit drive  from me, so it's really not that bad, just dont like the trip back home when I am tired ( whimp ).  I like it there, it's a very pretty place, SA is so much more laid back than Vic imo, considered moving there before we bought this place BUT no Aldi 😞

Waves ~~~~~~~~ to the travellers.

Woken early by the dog next door barking right at my bedroom window. Woman Sad went back to sleep because I watched the tennis till late.

The courtyard is a thought in progress bushy, for starters the trees right on the fence line from next door are a concern, she has a huge murraya which drops it's mess plus another large tree which starts out with a white stringy fluff and then berries which end up in the courtyard and i'm sure the gutters on that side would also be catching a lot of the mess. I just don't know where to start with the thoughts of trying to do anything out there, all I see is me trying to improve that area but continually cleaning the mess from next door. She has a huge overgrown purple flowering Tibouchina on that side as well, it's mess drops into the pebble garden bed at the front on that side.

Good morning Freddie.

Beautiful here this morning - going to be hot again.

I am sending next door's Cocky by Express Post - it begins it's continual squawking around 5am.

You are very welcome.

Robot wink

morning everyone  Smiley Happy

it is much cooler today which is great. Happy shopping Bushies. Anyone driving today in Vic, stay safe, we have heaps of rain forecast for today.

hmmm not sure what you can do about the mess from the next door's trees Freddie

Helen you can keep the cocky, they are a noisy bird when they wind up.

Deb, the fence along there needs replacing soonish as well, so maybe that need can be used to promote discussion with the neighbour regarding the trees and our wishes to be able to use that area of our property without the mess.
