Get a new not so easy to tip bin and give him some toys so he's not bored while you're out.  Sounds easy  πŸ˜„

From what I gather this only happens when the owners are out, so no good disciplining it after the fact.   It would make her neurotic. My dog occasionally pees on the floor when I'm out but again unless she's caught redhanded there is no way to discipline.

this one at a time......a mousetrap?    Seriously?     😞

I think the idea of a brick in the bin sounds good, no way a little dog could tip it over.

My dog will tip over the bin at my parents place when no one is around (doesn't go near it when humans are present).  The bin has a swing top lid on it, so my dad attached a bungee cord over the top.  The bin still gets knocked over but it can't be rummaged through

I want one of these in antique white please.

Noice!   I'll have the rest of the kitchen that goes with it

Cute little drawers.  Yes, very noice.

Wow, now this would be the ultimate dog proof bin, however, I think a touch expensive lol.

Our Millie is 4 and very well trained. She knows right from wrong. I believe she only does this to teach us a lesson for leaving her. She has plenty of toys and I know she plays with them while we are out. We know she has been in the bin when we come home and she greets us at the front door, jumping up for a cuddle. Guilt written all over her. Brighton is correct, no good going crook on her after the deed has been done. She doesn't suffer seperation anxiety as we had trained her against this from a pup and she has never damaged any furniture. Overall she is a very good girl. Now, we must be good and remember to lift the bin up before we go.

Thanks everyone for your comments.

I think we need another pic of Millie......... hows about it?  We need some more cuteness here.     Smiley Very Happy

Seriously.......it didn't hurt Darwin, and it only took one episode............

Ok, you asked for it. This was taken when we had a little bench garbage bin.
