Is it true that everyone in Israel has to serve in the army?

in theory yes,---once they turn 18

but there are exceptions and non military service to the country, that counts, as well

the palestinians are training little kids. There's lots of evidence of this, including from Israeli soldiers who have come out of Gaza

I didnt really think about if there were others in the world, but once I saw your link I started to think that there must be  a difference in the way these people are trained and where their "head space" would be . Just couldnt think how to describe it.
