Abbott has repeatedly said he would be more consultative only to pull out another "captains pick". Maybe this will be a wake up call but it's hard for anyone to change their true personality

Watching Sky now and they are salivating, witchunting, doing Labors work,  just like what they did to Gillard, vultures.

Do you think it's at all telling that abbott is not holding a press conference about this mornings outcome?  Could it be because he can't be trusted to speak off the cuff?

Let's hope that rather than feel emboldened by the vote Tony um-er-ah Abbott feels chastened.

Yes it's unusual given the circumstances, where is he?
