Well worth watching.  I bought the series from the UK before Christmas and just had to watch it...from start to finish in one day. lol

Have just received the Christmas special so will watch it tomorrow.

It has been renewed for a sixth season.

I watched it but can someone tell me what is going on with Edith? how did her child get to be living with the fireman?

Sick to death of ITV advertising 'Broadchurch' every 15 minutes. Thankfully it's the final episode tomorrow (Monday).

Edith was supposed to leave the child in Europe, but she couldn't bear to do it. So she asked the local family to take her, so she could visit and still see her. Edith said the child's mother had died or something like that. The father in that family knows more about the child than the mother does. I have seen the current series already. I think this info was from last years series.

You are right am.....the child went to the farmer (who was also the volunteer fireman) and his wife towrds the end of the last series.
