@j*oono wrote:No it doesn't Deb. It just says 55 calls to 13 numbers. I just got off the phone and the lady was very helpful. She gave me the full 13 numbers and the only one that would have been called was to iinet because our internet wasn't working.
She agreed to wipe those charges because it was their fault that we had dodgy internet.
Other 13 numbers were to places like taxation dept and Australian Bureau of Statistics!!! The thing is that the dates these calls were made was when we couldn't even use the phone because the line was so crackly you couldn't even hear anyone.
She wiped the charge for ALL of the 13 numbers and reduced the line rental by two weeks because we didn't have the line. Bill halved.
Thank you Telstra 🙂
Way to go J`oono!!

Laney I was thinking about Prim this morning, I wonder if she's having internet problems again
Nic, I might be wrong but it seems to me that it's started getting dark earlier already

Is Tony's terrifically turgid, torpid toxicity terminal??
Hi to the lovely regulars on this long running group.
Sadly health issues limit my visits to three yearly intervals so tis back to the crypt.
Stay as happy and healthy as possible.
Regards John.

Good evening Stringers
Great to see you jonnjenn. Your absence has been mentioned in despatches with most of us wondering about your well-being. Whilst your visits are infrequent they are always very welcome ..... just don't leave it so long next time! Please!
Friday night and the weekend starts here. The westerlies today could have blown a dog off a rusty chain. At least you would not have had to put up with the easterlies today j*oono, particularly with all that dust swirling around your place.
Looking forward to a weekend of nothingness - no plans - nil - nada - zip. Lots going on in Freo this weekend but we are keeping well away from it all.

I wondered why the weather was so beautiful today Laney. Haha, I do love the westerlies.
It's odd though isn't it. We both live in the same state and not so far apart but we have totally different experiences with the weather. That was quite particular with the hail storm from a few years ago and the tornados more than a few years ago and the bush fires.
Tomorrow is the last day of summer.

We get the benefit of our proximity to the water j*oono we get the benefit of the sea breezes or wind and poor you - you get the ghastly easterlies coming across the hot/dry landscape ![]()
By the time they reach us they have pretty much lost the worst of their heat. I find the tornado alleys odd - why they seem to concentrate in one or two areas - there must be some atmospheric reason for that but their oddity has obviously not prompted me to research exactly why.
Maybe when I have more time .......
