Except in the last 40 years, the libs have been at the helm for about half that time. Not long enough to get everyone to be law abiding citizens with a job?

Too many criminal citizens to get them all a job.

I mean you only have to look at Labor, they had to resort to marrying them to get them off the streets  Smiley Wink Smiley LOL

Like Credlin and Loughnane 🙂

The problem with the media nowadays is the journos are now players instead of reporters.

And that applies to the ABC as well which it shouldn't.

Great article by Rowan Dean and he was on the Bolt Report yesterday too, Rowan said he would rather have one Tony Abbott than 50 Mark Scott’s.

Like most Australians Rowan is disgusted with the ABC they just can’t run any news broadcast without mentioning a leadership spill and most times its just their own invention.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott is the person who brought the party back out the sink hole after Turnbull was leader.

Yes Julie Bishop is a brilliant Foreign Minister but we didn’t elect her to be Prime Minister, Scott Morrison was fantastic at stopping the boats, once again we didn’t elect him as Prime Minister, the person we elected as Prime Minister is the person who is Prime Minister and he has done a great job thus far, under the circumstances with the mess he inherited he has performed remarkably.

Rowan Dean's Article Here

You are spot on.

An issue long dead, like say the leadership spill and the ABC will have it 1st story on all the news.

Yes, he has done well, I just wish they had passed the budget !

POLLS SHOW SUPPORT FOR ABBOTT JUMPS TO WITHIN STRIKING DISTANCE OF LABOR

Incorrect.

Polls show the Liberals are within striking distance of Labor. But not thanks to Abbott.

It shows that 72% of people believe he does not have the confidence of his party and will be gone by next election. The figures have been bouyed up because the people polled are making the assumption that Abbott will be replaced by Turnbull.

The poll shows he trails behind Turnbull, Bishop and Shorten as preferred prime minister.

The poll also shows he rated in the negative for ALL questions which asked about 'positive attributes needed for a leader' and it showed that he is now being deserted by his die hard, conservative voters.

Get your facts right before making broad incorrect statements vic.

Abbott has made an "astonishing recovery" someone here has said.   Smiley LOL

Not a skerrick of evidence of that yet, but we can dream.

Tick, tick, tick, only a matter of time.

There might not be a move against Abbott until after the N.S.W election. If successful, they should dump Brandis too.The guy's hopeless.
