My Ginger Lilies have speared toward the light above the fishponds' greenery, and brought a golden glow to the "tropics" of my yard.

I hope they have a compost bin there, I have contributed a fair bit of detritus from here and my "draft" list.

Morning all, havent been around much. Well, I have, but lurking more than posting. Hope freddie comes back soon, its not the same without her.
We have so much to finish around the house but today I'm going to look for a new car. Have my car advertised but cant be bothered trying to sell privately, might see what they'll give me for a trade in.
Tomorrow might start mulching the garden.

Oh dear gobbly!! Now that is something that would send me straight out the front door calling on the neighbours for help if Mr. Tas wasn't here (or even out the door until it was gone if he was here) ... *gaaaaaaaaaaaaaag* .... I really don't like the beasties.

We've been out in the garden early this morning, pulling out any lurking weeds, trimming the bottle brush tree (had a dead branch) and planting some daisy looking thingys that a friend gave us yesterday that will grow through the cold months and stay green, then flower in Spring.
A couple of little left over renovations going on as it's a long weekend ... a bit of painting, some small curtaining stitched and then the finishing of the new wall hanging.
Hope everyone is having a really good weekend ..... 
my ginger lillies are flowering so well this year and they smell beautiful. I wish that Freddie would come back, too. She is definitely missed.
Feeling a bit nauseous today, so it might be a quiet day for me today.
