After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

I guess that's why Vic is/was called "the garden state". I notice the roses around here because it's only a small town and so many people grow there, they are everywhere. 

People can make what they like of my garden, it worries me NOT lol

I have winter roses. They're huge flowers with a lovely scent. One red, one pink. I admire your hard work (and Mr. Bushie's) as well as how your garden is turning out Bushie. Having done little things on the house I know it takes plenty of effort to make changes.

Oh they sound lovely Amber 🙂 Some of mine have finished, some are still going .... I agree renos do take heaps of time and effort but really worth it in the end ...... bty did you sort out your ac?

Have quotes, have decided what to get, but the weather became more pleasing so not installed yet. Will get it done next week.

Really happy with my garden atm. Enough rain to make everything flourish and enough Sunshine to keep it green. I might need to have some palms removed soon as they are getting a bit tall.

The winter roses sound gorgeous Amber, well done.  We've given up on growing them ourselves, no success at all even after much careful attention.

The winter roses are at least fifty years old. They mostly just tend to themselves.

Hoping to get more rain here. Storms over the other side of Melbourne in the past day or two, but only a sprinkle this way.
