Playing taxi to Mr5 again today, another birthday party, this time its his girlfriend. LOL! They're so cute. Hes been invited to 4 parties this holidays, not bad for a kid that reckons he has no friends. LOL.

Lis, I made choc/ginger truffles yesterday !! YUMM YUMM

They are vewy nice even if I did make them! They've got bashed malteasers in them too. Next time I'll leave them out as the ginger overpowers them and I'll use them when I make ordinary truffles instead.

They are easy to make

crush a pkt of gingernut biccies, add to a can of condensed milk, add 2 tablespoons cocoa and mix. I can't eat coconut so don't add any but you can add a cup if you like.

With damp hands, roll into balls then roll in cadbury drinking choc or cocoa. Viola!! put in fridge. You can roll in coconut if you want or choc sprinkles.

The other recipe is

use a pkt of nice biccies, add a pkt of bashed malteasers.

If you make them make sure you hide them well in the fridge, like behind a cauliflower or sumfin !!

I ate a ginger fudge chocolate thingy yesterday, does that count?? I LOVE dark choclate covered glace ginger. And, best of all, when I try your recipe (thankyou!!) I wont have to hide it at all, cos Im the only one that eats ginger (unless its mild gingerbread) in this house! wooohoooooooooooooo. LOL.

It's been busy here, shopping, lunch...(divine)...king prawns in linguine with chilli and asparagus...to die for. (Well almost)

Tomorrow is our cooking day, we really need to make mince pies, but we are also going to lunch again. Not quite sure where at this stage........It's a hard life!
