So why not complain to Dodo?       Battery should be charging.

Useless if you have to be connected to power all the time

because I have finished up with Dodo now my plan has expired and I don't really want to have any more to do with them. But I will call them if all other avenues of enquiry fail.

CAll the service number and arrange for a return. They'll either fix or replace.

purchased recently

whats on the key, bottom left, between the CTRL and the Windows key?

also what does it say on the f10 and f11 keys?

The image small for me to make it out

fn = function key.     Does any key on the keyboard have fn on it?

There were a lot of carpy cheap netbooks made when they were first introduced. Batteries that didn't last for long before they needed recharging etc. If you can get your money back might be best solution.

if you google Acer and the model number of yours and your problem ( numbers instead of letters)you may find other people had the same problem snd some solutiond.

Here is my netbook keyboard (bought in 2011). The fn key is on bottom row, second from left.

Good. The service number would be the best bet then.

Has it had the issue since the first time you used it?
