What a disgusting attitude to other people.

The Senate are elected representatives and the individuals have every right to be heard.  The ruling party toss out all those they deem to be not showing the desired respect and as that is the road they've chosen it has to work both ways.  

If you're going to constantly argue about what happens in the parliament you had better watch and see for yourself.  You can tune in any day free of charge, or catch the replay on parlview but don't rely on the randoms on facebook for your information.

Julia Gillard's Government managed to navigate a hostile Senate and get significant and meaningful legislation passed - bucketloads of it.

Abbott has the same opportunity - but of course that would involve negotiation, compromise, mutual respect and understanding - all of which is in short supply with this arrogant mob with an overblown sense of entitlement.

Obviously she didn't have the same vindictive and self-serving lot of myopics to deal with that the Abbott govt is facing.
