Tony Abbott's Support Page

A reminder of the debt that Australia has, while Labor can bury their heads and deny it exists the fact remains we have a huge problem with debt and sooner than later the chips will fall, no business, no state and no country can keep operating in the red, eventually those we own the money to will own us. Who will own us?
The state of Qld has debt of $80 billion dollars, Labor are saying they don’t think it’s that bad, Bill Shorten on Australia’s debt, there is no debt crisis, there is a crisis and we are in this situation because of Labor, no one else and the bottom line is Labor can’t fix this problem, their speciality is creating debt not fixing debt.

Re: Tony Abbott's Support Page

From Facebook:

"Lazarus has bought himself a dictionary and is demanding an explanation on “FERAL”, I wonder if that means he doesn’t understand the dictionary.

All the buttercups are offended, less than two weeks ago we had to endure Lazarus smirking while standing by his mate telling our Prime Minister to die, now he’s offended, suck it up Princess.

Lambie wants respect, God give me strength, are we ever going to ...witness a brain with this mob. The senate can carry on like a pack of misfits and I’ll bypass the wild animals because strangely enough animals have brains, something I haven’t witnessed with this current bunch of oxygen thieves.

David Leyonhjelm, yep he’s offended too; refresh me was he the same person who a couple of days after the Lindt cafe was suggesting that if everyone carried a gun that the people could have shot back.

As for the Greens well they are not worth mentioning.

Perhaps Lazarus and Lambie need to go for a walk through a shopping centre outside where their family members shop and find out what the Australian public really thinks of them, I heard the best ever summary about Lazarus at my newsagent yesterday and I laughed for hours."

What a disgusting attitude to other people.

The Senate are elected representatives and the individuals have every right to be heard.  The ruling party toss out all those they deem to be not showing the desired respect and as that is the road they've chosen it has to work both ways.

If you're going to constantly argue about what happens in the parliament you had better watch and see for yourself.  You can tune in any day free of charge, or catch the replay on parlview but don't rely on the randoms on facebook for your information.

Re: Tony Abbott's Support Page

Julia Gillard's Government managed to navigate a hostile Senate and get significant and meaningful legislation passed - bucketloads of it.

Abbott has the same opportunity - but of course that would involve negotiation, compromise, mutual respect and understanding - all of which is in short supply with this arrogant mob with an overblown sense of entitlement.

Re: Tony Abbott's Support Page

Perhaps Tony Abbott just isn’t any good at politics

19 March 2015

While former Labor prime minister Julia Gillard regularly met the Greens and the independents underpinning her minority government in 2010, Mr Abbott has largely kept to himself and delegated responsibility to his ministers to persuade the crossbench on the need for reform. Reports of their performances vary greatly

While Ms Gillard had started in university politics, and it sometimes showed, her default position was to negotiate.

As prime minister, Ms Gillard also pampered crossbenchers with dinners, drinks and sweeteners for their electorates that cost the budget millions of dollars.

Obviously she didn't have the same vindictive and self-serving lot of myopics to deal with that the Abbott govt is facing.

Abbott has the same opportunity - but of course that would involve negotiation, compromise, mutual respect and understanding -

All of hich, as we've seen, is being steadfastly withheld by those that wish to see Mr Abbott fail.

all of which is in short supply with this arrogant mob with an overblown sense of entitlement.

You could be describing the Opposition.
