Rabbit - time and again in this and other threads, you've asked for/demanded evidence for evolution, yet time and again when same is offred to you, you scoff, choose to ignore it or state that 'it simply couldn't happen'.

Not once have you offered any proof of your arguments, save for 'I believe it', or 'I think this is what happened'.

Believing it doesn't make it real! Lots of people have deeply-held beliefs - but most aren't real. It's quite surprising what the human mind is capable of conjuring up.

Chemtrails,

Reptilians in government,

The Illuminati,

Nibiru the rogue planet,

Sadistic, vengeful cops,

Red Sea chariots,

The list goes on and on - yet curiously, when asked to give proof, these people tend to shy away, distract and deny.

Any further attempt to convince you of the logic of evolution is a pointless exercise - like many religious persons, you've made up your mind, have preconcieved notions about what you believe and what's fantasy - which is OK - we all do that, but some of us will actually seek out logical answers, rather than simply say...'God diddit!'

In my experience with theists over the years, I've come to the realization that many of them are terrified of the permanence of death - and so choose to believe in a god and afterlife, as a way of salving their egos.

It's a well-known fact that if you repeat a mantra long enough, or convince yourself of something, it becomes implanted into the subconscious, which then reinforces the conscious, which then reinforces the subconscious...and around it goes.

There is just so much information available on the internet for anyone curious enough to investigate, but you'd need to do it with an open mind!

We all know that sooner or later we will die - it's just that some of us have come to terms with the fact. Don't have to like it...but there's not a whole lot of choice in the matter, is there?

I died for a couple of minutes on the operating table some 10 years ago - twice. Never saw any white lights, pearly gates or fire and brimstone!
