Some real facts of what went down on the day in some of the capital cities

Victorian Police allowed anti-rallies to flank each side of the area they chose for the Melbourne Reclaim Rally event. This effectively prevented the majority of Reclaim Rally people from attending their legitimate rally at 1.00pm and created a dangerous situation for all Reclaim Rally goers those hemmed in insideand those outside wanting to attend.

In Sydney, Police ensured anti-Rallies were at least 800m away from Sydney's Reclaim Rally.

In Adelaide Police banned anti-rallies altogether claiming they were inciting violence and a danger to public safety.

In Melbourne however, our police saw fit to allow each anti rally to flank the only two entrances to the rally from 12.00pm. Their only comment to our people wanting to get through..."we can't guarantee your safety" (getting through the anti rally protestors.)

The Reclaim Rally was the only rally that had a permit for the day.
