Because I want to and love you all...I have never forgotten all the kind words and emails that I received when my OH passed away nearly 4 years ago..the beautiful flowers,card with a much appreciated cheque enclosed. If it wasn't for this forum none of this would have happened..personal I know but that is the reason I come here..

Its nice to ( Sometimes ) have an intelligent, entertaining converstion with other people for a change. As a 50 + YO male who enjoys art, music, business and finance, social issues etc. I find there are not many men my age with similar intrests. If footy and weekend booze ups ( or dope sessions ) are not your thing there are not many venues to discuss topics of interest.

As a seller who is still making a reasonably good, full time income from ebay, I hope I can offer some advice to help newer members. I have been blessed in life to have a range of business experiences from very succesfull B & M start ups to nearly going broke ( recieved the letter from the bank telling me to sell up ) . If I can share some of this experience to help others avoid the potholes I have fallen in, it may help to save them some of the headaches I have had.

 

And of course its to "share the love" you all have for each other     

Well, I was hitchhiking on the information superhighway, just out to see the virtual world, when a horn sounded right behind me and then darkness. When I woke up I was in a long, dark tunnel and at one end was a beautiful light. I started moving toward the light and when I emerged there was a luminous form and I could sense a presence. This presence spoke to me and said "Your numerous sins prevent you from entering here. You may not enter until you have atoned for those sins." When I woke up again, well, here I am. Say....it sure is warm here! Does anyone else smell sulphur?
