To no one in particular:

It is ironic that an advert on TV shows a cashier counselling a customer and then being advised to

RE-INVENT YOURSELF.

I haven't been to a McDonalds since I started boycotting them a year or so ago in protest to them building in the Dandenong Ranges. Its just a matter a time before that is forced to close due to lack of business but I doubt if I'd ever waste my money at any of their stores again.

I have only ever used a self-service checkout once and that was only to see what it was like. I prefer to have the personal touch.

My mum goes out of her way and past a couple of others to get to the Z petrol station. Woman LOL

we go to Maccas once a week. Its always packed.

I think they are trying to go too fancy.

They put the cafes in and lost half the seating.

Theyve changed the menu boards to flashing things so u cant see half of the menu or prices.

I imagine these touch screen (Create youre own), are going to slow service down even more.

We go to Maccas for a quick, cheap junky treat

omg I think I'd drive from one end of the city to the other for that service.   I don't know if it's done anymore in Australia, certainly not Melbourne.   I miss it so much.

Still one in Morwell Vic -a small Shell petrol station with driveway service.

I live in the next town but when in that town -fuel up there.

Ross the owner is a top bloke and all the staff very friendly...............Richo.

One in Deloraine Tassie - couldn't believe it when the young fella

(complete with snappy uniform) ran out to fill up the car.

On another note in Deloraine - made a special trip there for a certain

item I collect.   I knew this woman had plenty.    Arrived at 3pm to find

a sign on the door that said  "Closed early - gone home to milk the cows"

Didn't help that I could see what I wanted in the window!   angry smiley.gif
