No thanks. The kids and hubby have salad sandwiches everyday for work and school.

Lol Stawka. Reminds me of a trip to Stanley some years ago, my SIL sent me to the store to get bread.
Lady said "sorry no bread" then she asked where I was staying. As soon as I mentioned my SIL's name she whipped out a loaf for me!!!!
There was bread for locals lol

Still one in Morwell Vic -a small Shell petrol station with driveway service.

I live in the next town but when in that town -fuel up there.

Ross the owner is a top bloke and all the staff very friendly...............Richo.

How lucky are you......I'm busy calculating how long it would take for me to get from the inner

suburbs to Morwell, lol.     And then of course how much petrol would I use.

Oh yeah, the old broken coffee machine. Or the other excuse it is being cleaned. I quite often ask for a senior's coffee which is free and get told the story about the coffee machine. However, I will admit it is still made free at McCafe. I just think most of the kids can't be bothered so pass it over to the McCafe side.

bright.ton42, never mind the time and petrol.

On a nice day it is a wonderful trip into a green countryside. The scenery is wonderful relaxing and all the small country towns people are friendly. Make it a day out and enjoy the old fashioned service. An experience to remember when stressed in busy city life.

Hi Bright.ton-------the fuel will be more expensive than

in the city and would take half a tank to get home .lol.......................................Richo.

I so dislike those self serve counters, seems many others do too. Was in shopping at kmart with hubby (hes not big on shopping because of the crowds) anyhow we got to the checkout and there was one checkout with operator open, there was a line about 30 deep and yet there were 6 self serve checkout empty. people were dumping there goods at the checkout and walking out instead of using the self serve. I reckon they lost lots of sales. hubby wanted me to dump my stuff and go elsewhere too.

i have seen people cue to use the self serves.

if you have to be your own check out chick/rooster then you should get the items cheaper.

it's unpaid check out chick/rooster work you are doing for shops like k mart, coles or woolies.

i wonder how many people would like to volunteer in coles to work for zilch being a check out chick....oh wait - they are already doing it Robot Frustrated
