just out of curiosity is it ony online that you have appointed yourself to be Jimminy Cricket or do you call out people on their behaviour in the real world too - where there is a chance you will cop a smack upside the head for your troubes?

Everywhere and anywhere I see or witness something unjust, unfair or just plain stupid. Someone needs to call people out on their idiotic ways. Goodness knows - there's plenty of them! There's also plenty of keyboard warriors out there - but that's as far as their warrior ways take them.

There's a lot of posters here and elsewhere, who just love to create mayhem and discord - either by creating inflammatory posts, or jumping on the bandwagon. I personally believe in challenging deliberate misquotes, incorrect assumptions and lies.

As far as the smack goes?  Plenty have tried. Few have succeeded.

Anyway, that's enough from me. This thread was supposed to be about being a little more careful with the words we use - too many times, people deliberately misconstrue meanings for their own agendas. Don't try to tell me that you, too, haven't seen them?

The thing is about real life and the boards is you cant give people THE LOOK, the look is so hard to put into words. 🙂
